DRAKE DEVEN - The Lord of Illusion
Drake is an award winning magician and entertainer that has won the respect and admiration of his peers, critics, fans, and industry professionals all over the world. At a very young age, he was labeled as magic’s brightest new star and has lived up to that title ever since. Drake is a true practitioner of the art of magic. His performances include large scale grand illusions, incredible close-up and stage magic, dangerous escapes, and impossible acts of mind reading. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he discovered magic very early on while watching the movie Houdini, starring Tony Curtis. Once he was bitten by the magic bug, he never looked back. By the time Drake was a teenager, he was already performing professionally on stage and on television. He was one of the youngest members of the very prestigious organization entitled the Society of American Magicians, one of the youngest performers to hit the Las Vegas stage, and was one of the youngest performers to be featured in New York’s famed Studio 54 during its heyday. Before his 20th birthday, Drake had already achieved monumental accolades in the magic world, had great financial success within the show business world, and had worked with such legendary stars as Tom Jones, Sammy Davis Jr., and Vic Damone, all while touring the country and performing in such entertainment hotspots as New York, Atlantic City, and Las Vegas. Drake continued his career by starring in a year-long production show aboard a cruise ship, then followed that with non-stop years of performing his magic and grand stage illusions in notable theatrical venues, casino showrooms, high profile corporate events, and national and international TV appearances. Eventually, Drake produced and starred in his own hit show that has run for years in different casino venues. Today, he continues to entertain and thrill audiences with his unique brand of magic and starring in his own Las Vegas spectacular. Drake Deven has rightfully earned the title “The Lord of Illusion”, and he is excited to share his show “MIRACLES” with you and audiences around the world!
